How Uvida Sportswear all began…
Uvida Sportswear is a story of long time friends the Huether and Naughton families who live in sunny Southern Arizona. Both families love playing golf, tennis, biking and enjoying the great outdoors. It always seemed no matter how much sunscreen they slopped on, they were still seeing the effects of the sun. Dr. Michael Huether, a skin cancer surgeon, was all too aware of the damaging effects of the sun’s rays. They wondered if there was a better way to protect our skin from damaging UV Rays.
That is how Uvida® was born! Their idea was to develop a line of stylish, sun-protective clothing that offered UPF 50 protection, while minimizing the hassle of sunscreen. Uvida® UV-protective Sportswear offers stylish UPF 50 protection, while also being dry-wicking and light weight.

My Review:
Uvida Sportswear UV-protective Zip Top is so comfortable! Living in Arizona, I absolutely love being outside but unfortunately with that love comes the unfortunate side effects of the sun. I love that this UV-protective Zip Top is enhanced with UPF 50+ sun protection to protect me while I enjoy the outdoors. I'm a runner so I also love that it's lightweight, dry wicking and has a relaxed fit. Another cool feature is that it has elongated sleeves with a convenient thumb hole to protect the tops of your hands from the sun. I see so many people with sun damaged hands in Arizona so I think this is a great feature! It's honestly the most comfortable piece of clothing I own!
