The T260 is available in a twin-pack or a triple-pack.
The communication range quoted is calculated based on an unobstructed line of sight test under optimum conditions. Actual range will vary depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible. Your actual range will be limited by several factors including, but not limited to: terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions.

Keep updated with real-time weather conditions by turning on one of 11 weather channels or initiating weather alerts. NOAA radio service may not be available in all areas.

Power Through Your Adventures
There are two ways to power your Talkabout T260 radio: use the included NiMH rechargeable batteries for up to 12 hours or use 3 AA batteries for up to 29 hours. To recharge the NiMH batteries, choose from one of three ways: connect it to your vehicle adaptor or your computer, or plug the micro-USB cable into an outlet.

The TALKABOUT T260 Two Way Radios have NOAA weather channels so you can stay on top of the weather no matter where you are. They also have 22 channels and 121 privacy codes, for a total of 2,662 combinations, so there's always an available channel.
My kids and I have been having a blast trying out the Motorola TALKABOUT T260 Two Way Radios. We have a fairly large park in our neighborhood and since my kids like to explore and I hate having to yell for them when it's time to leave, I thought these would be perfect. I clip them onto my kids and when it's time to leave the park, I can simply get on the radio to let them know it's time to go. I can always see them, but sometimes they're too far away to hear me. We also have a family camping trip coming up that these will be perfect for. I remember running around playing in the forest when I was a kid and hate to admit it but the times have changed and there's no way I'd allow my kids to do that. But, now with the Motorola TALKABOUT T260 Two Way Radios I can give them a bit more freedom, allowing them to go further but still stay in my line of sight. Plus the kids love being able to talk back and forth over the radios. I also have to mention that I've bought kids radios in the past and they were such poor quality that they ended up not getting used. For as inexpensive as the Motorola TALKABOUT T260 Two Way Radios are, they'd make perfect play radios for kids but would also be handy to have around for parent child use.
