McKinney, TX -  FarmHouse Fresh® announces the March 1, 2017 launch of Organics, their long-awaited, highly-anticipated collection of body products certified to the NSF/ANSI 305 standard, which lovingly hydrate and nurture hands, face, and body, with light but scrumptious aromas often uncommon to certified products.

The Organics collection currently includes eight debut products which can be used for at-home exfoliation and hydration for the hands and body, with additional facial products expected later this year.

The eight debut products include: 

Big Bare Whipped Shea Butter Body Polish (8 oz; retail $42), an irresistibly softening body polish that rinses clean, smoothes away rough spots and removes dead skin cells using certified-organic sugar crystals, and hydrates the body with certified-organic shea butter and sunflower seed oil, offering a mix of lemon, bergamot and licorice notes 

Sweet Milk Body Lotion (8 oz; retail $34) and Sweet Milk Hand Lotion (2.4 oz; retail $16), a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer that nourishes hands and body with certified organic shea butter, aloe vera leaf juice, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, while whetting the appetite with notes of sandalwood and tonka bean, which do not compete with one's favorite perfume.

Island Elixir Shea Butter Body Cream (5 oz; retail $26) and Island Elixir Hand Cream (2.4 oz; retail $16), a rich, supple cream which soothes dry, chapped skin with certified-organic coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, honeysuckle, and cocoa butter, while bathing the body in delicate notes of pineapple and coconut.

Blushing Agave Body Oil (4 oz; retail $27), a silky, luscious mixture scented with notes of coconut milk and red berries, and contains certified-organic oils of sunflower seed, safflower seed, and sweet almond, along with agave tequilana leaf extract and vitamin E, which are applied post-bath and help prevent transepidermal water loss while giving skin a plumped appearance.

Sunflower Honey-Butter (3 oz; retail $30), a whipped, golden, deeply hydrating reparative butter cream with velvet-like texture offering intense hydration for extremely dry skin, containing certified-organic oils of coconut, sweet almond and sunflower seed,  certified-organic honey and scented with notes of mandarin orange, fig, red berries and vetiver.  

Lemongrass Ocean Mineral Bath Soak (16 oz; retail $23), an invigorating aromatherapy blend of tea tree, bergamot, lime, and rosewood, containing a mixture of Pink Himalayan and Atlantic Ceara mineral salts, Epsom salts, USDA-certified organic green tea, essential oils, herbs and mixed flower blends of organic lemon myrtle, rosehips, and hibiscus. These blends silken the water and provide antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and help ease muscle aches. For easy at-home use, there is a patent-pending tea bag with reusable clip and cork, which is sold separately (10 tea bags plus tea clip with cork, retail $16). 

Each product in Organics is free of GMO's, synthetic herbicides and pesticides, as well as parabens and sulfates. All of the Organics products are vegan, except for the Sunflower Honey-Butter.

Aqua Dragons in Space, Newest Kickstarter Campaign, Will Raise Funds To Launch 13.8M Eggs Into Near Space & Package As Live Astro Pets For Kids!

World Alive’s Aqua Dragons is an educational science kit that contains live aquatic pets that kids can bring to life and watch grow. Following great early success, the creators are excited to embark on an out-of-this-world experience and fly 13.8 million Aqua Dragons eggs on an unmanned flight into the outermost stratospheres of the planet. World Alive is looking to raise $50,000 to support its space mission, and their campaign is now available on Kickstarter (http://kck.st/2lavHad).

Aqua Dragons are a unique kind of crustacean called Artemia, that have a biological process called Diapause that allows them to hibernate, hatching once in contact with water. Five years ago, Holden and her partners launched a successful range of hatch-and-grow Aqua Dragons kits with the goal of providing curious-minded people and animal lovers everywhere with their own unique pets. Hatching and growing Aqua Dragons helps children learn important values like caring for a living creature and being responsible as it pertains to feeding, as well as how to treat live animals with respect instead of as a science experiment. Kids will also learn about science, anatomy, biology, marine biology and even history and geography through playtime with their Aqua Dragons.

The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to raise $50,000 to launch a payload full of 13.8 million Aqua Dragons into Space, record video footage of the flight, and then package these Space eggs into a new range of Aqua Dragons kits known as Aqua Dragons Live Astro Pets. There are also higher-priced packages available that will allow you to send a personal belonging, like a photo, into Space with the eggs or even meet an astronaut!

My Review:

DERMA E has quickly become one of my favorite brands as I've loved all their products that I've tried so far! As a mom of 4 my skin has been somewhat neglected over the past few months as so many other things have gotten in the way of me taking care of myself and my skin. Since my skin is super dry these days, even a few days of not keeping up with a good skincare routine can seem to really take it's toll.

My Review:

The Pioneer Woman Cast Iron Stainless Steel Butterfly Knob Dutch Oven is an absolute must have for any kitchen! I absolutely love how beautiful it as and think the butterfly knob make it absolutely perfect. I also love that it's pre-seasoned and oven safe. Now I can start cooking on the stove and move to the oven with ease. I remember when I was younger my mom had a cast iron skillet and it was one of her favorite items in the kitchen. I found out just today that she still has that exact same skillet and loves it just as much today as she did back then. Cast iron is extremely durable which is why so many different generations prefer it! 

I also love that The Pioneer Woman Cast Iron Stainless Steel Butterfly Knob Dutch Oven is available in red, linen, turquoise and plum so you can match just about any kitchen decor. The Pioneer Woman Cast Iron Stainless Steel Butterfly Knob Dutch Oven is terrifically amazing and makes just about anything taste delicious! My favorite meal to make in it is a beef stew because I can brown the meat in it on the stove and let it stew in the oven for an absolutely meal that reminds me of my moms cooking.

The Cat In The Hat: Knows A Lot About Space DVD is an absolute hoot! My daughter is 4 and ever since I can remember she's talked about flying to the moon and visiting space. This DVD was right up her alley. The Cat In The Hat: Knows A Lot About Space DVD is extremely entertaining and even my 20 month old laughs at the various scenes and adventures throughout. It's extremely entertaining and as a homeschooling mom of 4 I love that it's also educational. The Cat In The Hat: Knows A Lot About Space DVD is the perfect way to entertain young kids and I highly recommend it!
