Holly Shivers is the author of I Can Learn the Bible and I Can Learn to Pray. Holly has served as a staff wife for over a decade at Prestonwood Baptist Church, where she stays involved in women's and children's ministries. She received her Master’s degree in counseling. Holly enjoys contributing to various writing projects and ministry blogs but is most passionate about writing to kids. Some of her favorite things are Dr. Pepper, rainy days, family time, and especially those Dallas Cowboys! Holly lives in Texas with her husband and four kids.

I Can Learn to Pray By Holly Hawkins Shivers is an awesome book for families! I Can Learn to Pray By Holly Hawkins Shivers takes families through 52 weeks and teaches them to understand prayer. Each devotional has questions and suggestions to do during the week and simple prayers.While my family and I have only gone through 4 weeks I can honestly tell you that this book is amazing and will do amazing things for my family. Teaching children to pray is a wonderful thing. While praying is simple, understanding prayer can help each and everyone of us grow leaps and bounds. The power of prayer is amazing and teaching children this at a young age will help them grow into amazing adults.

My Review:

God is Watching Over You by P J Lyons is such a cute book! I absolutely love that this book reminds kids that God is always watching over them. God is Watching Over You by P J Lyons is a beautiful board book perfect for little kids. The rhyming text is adorable and the illustrations are beautiful. This book has quickly become one of our bedtime favorites and reminding my kids that God is always watching over them is the perfect way to send them to sleep.

NIrV, Under the Sea Holy Bible by Zondervan is an amazing Bible for kids! My 8 year old loves fish so she was more than thrilled to receive this Bible. She loves the sparkling fish on the interior and the beautiful cover. The colorful inserts featuring whimsical underwater scenes with themes of God’s care and love for each of us and all of creation is also a wonderful touch to this Bible. This Bible is absolutely perfect for kids 6-10 years old, especially those that love fish. 

I highly recommend this NIrV, Under the Sea Holy Bible by Zondervan!

My Review:

The Berenstain Bears Mother's Day Blessings is an adorably cute book! My daughters absolutely love the Berenstain Bears so it's no surprise that they absolutely love this book. I love that The Berenstain Bears Mother's Day Blessings teaches kids to appreciate all that their mothers do for them. The illustrations are beautiful and the Berenstain Bear cubs keep things interesting as always. My girls have been asking every night to read this book and I'm definitely happy to do so.

That's Not Hay in My Hair by Juliette Turner is an awesome book! Author Juliette Turner is a teenage author and I have to say I very much enjoy her writing style. My daughter and I absolutely love this book. We often think of moving to the country and with the help of this book we can imagine just a bit more of what all that would be like. Although now my daughter would like to move to the country even more because of all the adventures Juliette gets to experience. This is a perfect book for girls and I highly recommend it!

I'm in love with this Ohuhu Brush Hair Straightener! With four kids I'm always on the lookout for anything that saves me time when it comes to styling my hair. This Ohuhu Brush Hair Straightener straightens my hair in no time and helps my hair look amazing. I love that I can also give my hair a little under curl with this brush as well. To achieve and under curl make sure you brush from underneath and curl your wrist a bit. Works like a charm! This Ohuhu Brush Hair Straightener heats quickly and allows me to detangle and straighten all at once saving me so much time. This Ohuhu Brush Hair Straightener is perfect for straightening my long wavy hair and seems to be well made.

My Review:
