My Review:

Skinny Pop Popcorn is the perfect light snack! I'm a huge nighttime snacker so I'm always on the lookout for healthy snacks. I love that Skinny Pop Popcorn has no artificial ingredients and is non-GMO. When I snack at night I crave either something sweet or something salty and let me just tell you these are a wonderful way to satisfy that salt craving. 

The original flavor is lightly salted and tastes fresh and wonderful. I have always loved cheese flavored popcorn so the white cheddar popcorn is my favorite. The white cheddar flavor is lightly seasoned but has enough flavor to satisfy my taste buds. I absolutely love this popcorn and highly recommend it!

This Neoprene Water Proof Hydration Running Belt by FitGear is awesome! I love this product! The water bottles fit in my hand perfectly and slid in and out of the belt with ease which is great because you can continue running while using them. I also love the zipper pouch to keep my keys, phone, snack, hair tie and various other items. It's large enough to hold everything I need and since the belt is waterproof, everything is protected. The belt fits great, doesn't bounce and stays in place. This is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it!

Beary Genius Premium Artist-Quality Neon Liquid Chalk Markers have so many uses! As a homeschooling mom, I'm always looking for new ways to get my kids excited about learning. One way I recently did this was to teach a lesson on my daughters bedroom window. She thought it was so neat and asked if she could decorate her window afterwards. Kitzini Silicone Kitchen Tongs are the perfect cooking utensil! I love using them while barbecuing or cooking in the kitchen! The short Kitzini Silicone Kitchen Tongs are perfect for in the kitchen for cooking bacon or turning sausage. The longer Kitzini Silicone Kitchen Tongs are great for outdoor barbecuing and has even encouraged me to try grilling. Up until now my husband was the grill master but I've recently ventured out of my kitchen and used the Kitzini Silicone Kitchen Tongs to do some grilling. I absolutely love they they are long enough to keep me away from the heat. They are also sturdy enough to hold lots of different items for grilling. Recalled Baby and Kids Toys, Sports Equipment and Furniture Cause Thousands of Injuries and Deaths!

Wheels and Baby’s Day PSAs Highlight Dangerous Recalled Items

Today, in an effort to keep children and babies from the increased danger of recalled items, Safe Kids California (SKC) launched a program to educate the public about the danger of unknowingly purchasing or accepting products that have been recalled. The campaign’s centerpiece of English and Spanish public service announcements (PSAs) and videos showcase important safety messages about recalled items. While many items are safe, it is important that parents check the CPSC list when accepting new or used items.

The first compelling PSA called “Wheels” highlights strollers and outdoor sports equipment, which are among the most frequently recalled products that enter the market through a hotbed of swap meets, garage sales, second-hand stores and between friends and family. The second PSA, “Baby’s Day,” uses a clever crib mobile of products to help parents understand that products for infants and toddlers are recalled more frequently than other products.

“When we discovered that almost 30 percent of recalls in 2012 were children’s products, and that there were 230,000 emergency visits to the ER involving injuries from nursery items and toys, we knew that we had to take action,” said Iana Simeonov, project director from the Public Health Institute. “Our goal was to demystify and contextualize the process of children’s product recalls for consumers while making the information more accessible to English and Spanish speaking parents.” To do that, Simeonov said, in addition to the new PSAs, the project includes a mobile-optimized Safe Kids California website, a Twitter stream of recalls and a “widget” that notifies users of important recalls in real time directly from the CPSC.

The project includes the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership, the Children’s’ Product Recall Project and was funded by the Public Health Institute, Oakland, CA. 

Safe Kids California was Founded in 2008, Safe Kids California (SKC) is part of the Safe Kids Worldwide global network dedicated to keeping kids safe from preventable childhood injury – the number one cause of death among children ages one to 19.
