It is the second largest living cat after the tiger. They are nocturnal, sleeping mostly during the day. Females are the prime hunters. Males are the better protectors of the herd. Only male lions have manes. Lions are the only cats that live in groups; these groups are called prides. The prides’ territory can be as large as 100 miles. They defend it by roaring loudly, chasing off intruders and marking their spot with the smell of their urine. Young lions, cubs, only begin to hunt once they are around one year old. If the opportunity arises they will hunt alone rather than in a group, they also steal kills from hyenas or wild dogs. Historically, lions have been associated with both courage and strength.

They are the largest mammals on earth. Ears of African elephants are shaped like the African continent. They can eat up to 300 lbs of food a day! An elephant’s trunk can be used for smelling, trumpeting, drinking and grabbing things. Elephants like water and they shower by sucking water into their trunks and then spraying it all over themselves. Male and female African elephants have tusks; they use them to dig for food and water and to strip the bark off of trees. Their tusks are made of ivory, it is considered a very valuable commodity, and humans for this reason sometimes hunt them even though it is illegal. Elephants do not sleep very much and they roam great distances.

My Review:
Our Generation, Lil Woodzeez and Terra by Battat are some of our favorite toy brands! My kids love their Our Generation dolls because they're incredibly beautiful and fun to play with. They also have tons and tons of accessories you can buy like clothes, pets, house and home furniture and so much more. Our Generation by Battat is the perfect way to encourage imaginative play.
Lil Woodzeez by Battat are huge in our house. All 4 of my kids have a collection of them, even my almost 2 year old has a few sets. My kids enjoy playing with them with the play sets and houses that they've collected over the years. Every birthday when people ask them what they want they always say Lil Woodzeez.
Terra by Battat is a newly discovered brand for us that my kids adore. They love that they have sets of animal families because we're all about family in our house. The little lion and elephant set we received here are incredibly well made and are sure to last a lifetime.
