Whether it's providing tools to put a purple octopus on the moon, or enabling teachers to bring arts-infused learning into the classroom, Crayola is passionate about helping parents and educators raise creatively alive children who we believe will grow to be inspired, original adults.

Our company has inspired artistic creativity in children for more than 100 years - since the first box of Crayola crayons rolled off the assembly line in 1903. The company began when cousins Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith took over Edwin's father's pigment business in 1885. Early products included red oxide pigment used as barn paint and carbon black used in car tires.

After noticing a need for safe, high quality, affordable wax crayons, in 1903, Crayola produced the first box of eight crayons and sold them for 5 cents.

Since then, the Crayola brand has grown into a portfolio of innovative art tools, crafting activities, and creative toys that give kids the power to express all that inspires them as they explore, discover, play, pretend, and dream.

In 1984, Crayola became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hallmark Cards and has since played a significant role in Hallmark’s personal development strategies.

The company carried the name of its founders, Binney & Smith, until 2007 when we changed our name to Crayola to reflect our No. 1 brand.

Crayola has called Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, its home since the turn of the century. Today, the company's world headquarters and major manufacturing facilities are located there. Downtown Easton is the home of The Crayola EXPERIENCE®, our interactive brand experience where families can enjoy a day of creative fun and see how we make our iconic Crayola crayons and markers.

Color, rinse, re-pet! Crayola Scribble Scrubbie Safari Animals are adorable, colorable and washable animal figures that little would-be groomers can customize again and again! Monkey around or choose the sassy elephant to color with the 6 included Scribble Scrubbie Washable Markers. And when you're ready for something new, pop ‘em in the safari palm tree tub to get cleaned up. Create new colorful coats as often as you like! There are 4 Scribble Scrubbie Jungle Animals inside, including Khari (lion), Tuma (elephant), Nia (monkey), and Talib (Giraffe), and additional expansion packs (sold separately). Collect them all!

Two classic art activities in one! The Crayola Spin ‘N Spiral Art Station lets kid “gear up” for awesome spirally geometric marker designs or “spin out” for wild, random drippy spin art paint designs. Create combo designs using both activities to elevate your art! This cool tool is kid-powered—no batteries required—and includes 6 Pip-Squeaks Skinnies Markers, 3 Bottles of Paint, and 15 Paper Discs.

Crayola's Scribble Scrubbie Safari Tub Set and Spin & Spiral Art Station are must haves for kids! As the mom of four kids, I have a pretty good idea of toys that kids will like. Crayola is a top brand in our house because not only do my kids love everything from them, but they're often toys that help them play, create and have a blast over and over again. These toys above are so awesome and I'm so thrilled to tell you guys about them!

Crayola's Scribble Scrubbie Safari Tub Set is a super fun set that kids of all ages will love. The animals are totally adorable, colorable and washable so kids can customize again and again. This fabulous set includes 6 Scribble Scrubbie Washable Markers and 4 Scribble Scrubbie Jungle Animals and, you can even buy expansion packs should your little one need more animals. My kids absolutely love coloring the animals and then cleaning them up to do it all over and over again. I love that it keeps them busy and isn't messy. It's the perfect gift for kids that they will love!

Spin & Spiral Art Station from Crayola is so incredibly fun! I actually had something very similar that I believe was also from Crayola when I was a kid and boy did I love it. Kids simply use the markers or paint to create some awesome spirally geometric designs or drippy spin art paint designs. You can even create a combo design using both activities. Another thing to love, is that it's all kid-powered and requires no batteries. It's honestly such a blast for kids and maybe even adults as I too love using it!

Crayola's Scribble Scrubbie Safari Tub Set and Spin & Spiral Art Station are must haves for kids that my family and I highly recommend!
