A Family Business
Honey Ridge Farms was built on the core belief that honey is nature's best and most delicious sweetener. Located in Brush Prairie, Washington, Honey Ridge Farms was founded in 2004 by Leeanne Goetz, who is part of an extended beekeeping legacy.
In fact, Leeanne’s oldest son, Ryan, is fifth-generation and worked alongside his grandfather Edmund Varney, learning the vocation as a teenager and through college. Keeping true to traditional practices, Ryan is caretaker to 4000 colonies that pollinate a variety of crops throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California. The Honey Ridge Farms family has a unique appreciation and unprecedented consideration for hive health, offering the highest quality pollination services to local farmers.
Honey Ridge Farms offers a wide selection of fruit and spiced honey crèmes and honey-based vinegars, available online and from select retailers across the country. Award-winning Balsamic Honey Vinegar is truly a unique and delicious aged balsamic-style vinegar made entirely from honey. It adds an intriguingly complex flavor dimension to salads, sauces and marinades.
Our Commitment to Quality
Honey Ridge Farms is dedicated to sourcing the finest premium raw clover honey from family and artisan beekeepers from the Pacific Northwest and Western states. We’re proud to offer only superior, USA honey products using raw honey that can be traced back to its origin.
Our Challenge
Honeybees play an essential role in the human diet and economy -- pollinating a third of the world’s food sources -- making their survival critical to ours. In these last several years the apiculture industry has experienced extreme colony loss, with beekeepers reporting up to an astounding 70% reduction. Called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), this drastic downturn in bee populations will adversely affect the global food supply, if not resolved. What is happening? What is causing such radical losses? Will the apiculture industry survive? These are the questions that researchers worldwide are being called upon to answer, including a number of US Universities. Everyone can play a part and help the bees by planting a pollinator garden, donating money directly to the cause or purchasing products from bee-friendly businesses.
