Roominate Empowers Kids to Build Endless Amazing Creations!

Alice Brooks and Bettina Chen met and became friends in the master’s engineering program at Stanford. As two of the few women in the program, they compared stories on why they had pursued engineering. They were both inspired by their childhood toys.

In the US, less than 15% of women enter college intending to major in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field. Alice and Bettina believe the gender gap starts young. Many girls’ toys lag behind in the development of spatial skills, hands-on problem solving skills, and confidence with technology. These are exactly the skills that Roominate aims to develop.

Roominate’s unique blend of building, circuits, design, crafts, storytelling, and creativity teaches kids while they play. Using motor and light circuits, modular furniture building pieces and walls, Roominate empowers kids to build endless amazing creations!

Roominate teaches:

Hands-On Problem Solving
Spatial + Fine Motor Skills
Basic Circuitry

Alice and Bettina designed Roominate to inspire the next generation of innovators.

My Review:
Roominate empowers kids to build endless amazing creations! As a homeschooling mom of 4 I absolutely love toys that encourage kids to be creative while at play. I also happen to have 3 girls so Roominate has been a huge hit in my home to say the least! My girls absolutely love Emma's Townhouse and Cotton Candy Carnival by Roominate. They love that they can build it the way that they want it by using artwork, circuits, and a motor to bring it all to life.

Emma's Townhouse by Roominate was perfect for my 6 year old. I wasn't sure she'd understand exactly how to get everything set up and working but she did and I must say she did it much faster than I did. It was fairly east to set up and once she had it set up she literally spent hours playing with it. She also still enjoys playing with it which says a lot because she usually gets bored pretty easily.

Cotton Candy Carnival by Roominate is a wonderful product and my 8 year old is totally in love with it! She loves carnivals and was extremely excited when she learned she could build her very own to play with. She was able to set it up pretty quickly and loved that it came with so many accessories. She has been playing with the Cotton Candy Carnival by Roominate everyday and loves that she can be as creative as she wants to. She loves to build things which is why this Cotton Candy Carnival by Roominate is absolutely perfect for her.

I love seeing my kids be creative and absolutely recommend these Roominate toys be on every child's Christmas list this year!
