Lola the Therapy Dog Books by Marcia Goldman are Great for Kids!

by Marcia Goldman

Book Description
Meet Lola, a little terrier with a big job. Children will identify with the feisty Lola as she struggles going to school, passing tests, and finally achieving her Big Dog dream. If Lola can make it in a world of Great Danes and Labradors, so can anybody who's feeling like a runt. Teacher guide for empathy curriculum in back of book.

My Review:
Lola Goes to Work: A Nine-to-Five Therapy Dog by Marcia Goldman is an absolutely adorable book! My kids love dogs as do most kids but most children's books don't use real photos of dogs which is what makes Lola Goes to Work: A Nine-to-Five Therapy Dog by Marcia Goldman unique. Page after you page you get real images of cute little Lola. In Lola Goes to Work: A Nine-to-Five Therapy Dog by Marcia Goldman children will see how little Lola achieved her big dream of becoming a therapy dog despite being a runt. I also love that this book teaches kids that if they set their mind on something and try hard enough they can achieve anything. Lola Goes to Work: A Nine-to-Five Therapy Dog by Marcia Goldman is one of my children's favorite books and I highly recommend it!

You can find Lola Goes to Work: A Nine-to-Five Therapy Dog by Marcia Goldman on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other bookstores.

Book Description
The lovable therapy dog from Lola Goes to Work has her first day at Doggy Daycare. Like anyone new to preschool or kindergarten, she's a little bit nervous, a little bit scared, and very excited.

My Review:
Lola Goes to School by Marcia Goldman is adorable! Little Lola experiences her first day of Doggy Daycare and just like most little kids she has a few worries. I love that throughout Lola Goes to School by Marcia Goldman has real images of Lola. I also love that Lola Goes to School by Marcia Goldman teaches kids that it's normal to have worries about their first day of school but in the end all is well. My kids love reading this book and I love seeing them get excited about each new picture of Lola. They love little Lola so much, they've even asked to have a dog just like her when it comes time to get a dog. Lola Goes to School by Marcia Goldman is a fabulous book and would be perfect for kids who are nervous about staring school.

Book Description
Children will identify with Lola as she nervously waits to be called into the doctor's office. Lola feels a little bit brave when the doctor looks into her ears, a little braver when he examines her teeth, and bravest of all when she gets a shot.

My Review:
Lola Goes to the Doctor by Marcia Goldman is such a cute book! It's filled with real images of Lola the dog going to the doctor and works through many fears that young children may have about going to the doctor. My kids and I love the real pictures of Lola and how she actually looks like she has the emotions described in the book. Lola Goes to the Doctor by Marcia Goldman has quickly become one of my children's favorite books. Even my one year old adores little Lola and often brings this book to me to read to him. I highly recommend Lola Goes to the Doctor by Marcia Goldman! It's definitely a favorite in our house!

Book Description
How do you deal with tattletales? When should you tell on someone? Lola struggles with her little brother Zeke and his tattletale behavior in this sequel to Lola Goes to Work.

My Review:
Lola and Tattletale Zeke by Marcia Goldman is our favorite book about Lola! Little Lola has a brother named Zeke who loves to tattle. My kids love this book because we have a few tattle tales in our house and each of my kids have experienced being tattled on so we know exactly how Lola feels. My kids also love seeing the messes that these little puppies make and I love reminding them how much work having a puppy is going to be. Lola and Tattletale Zeke by Marcia Goldman is the perfect book to teach kids how to deal with tattletales!
